Please take the time to read the terms and conditions of Villa Vrbat Apartments carefully. Engaging our services involves agreeing and subjecting yourself to these conditions. If you disagree with any of the terms and conditions set out in this section, please refrain from engaging the services of Villa Vrbat apartments.
PROTECTING PERSONAL DATA
Villa Vrbat pledges to protect personal data from its customers. We will gather only the personal data necessary to carry out the orders submitted. Villa Vrbat informs the customers about the way of securing the personal data, and gives its customers the ability to choose not to participate in various lists which we may prepare for marketing purposes or to remove their data from our systems altogether. All the data about our customers are securely stored and are available only to authorized personnel. All the employees and business partners of Villa Vrbat are responsible for performing under the similar terms for handling the customer private data.
BOOKING / PAYMENT TERMS
In order to make a reservation You must send e-mail request . Your request will be processed personally within 24 hours.At the moment in which we confirm the availability with the property you have requested, we will e-mail You a confirmation letter to the e-mail address you have provided.
If we can confirm your request for the reservation, you are required to pay the deposit in the amount of 20 % of total price in cash or other form of payment for apartment youíve chosen. Upon arrival, at your apartment in Villa Vrbat, you are required to pay the balance due either in cash or other form of payment specified under each apartment. Your reservation will be held for 3 days for you to confirm Your booking, by acknowledging payment. After 3 days the reservation will automatically be removed from our system.
If we cannot confirm Your request, we will e-mail You with any similar alternatives and will not make any charges until you give us approval to do so.
In the event that You do not receive any notice from us (either to confirm or refuse the request) you are requested to contact us as many times e-mails come back undeliverable. We cannot guarantee that e-mail we send to you has been received and will not claim responsibility if you are not adequately contacted.
ON LINE PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD
Payment on our website is safe! We use Ouroboros Payment Gateway service for online payment (http://www.ouroboros.hr), which employs the newest security technologies, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security protocol with at least 128-bit encryption, as well as other technologies and security procedures designed to protect privacy of Your data. The exchange of confidential data between the online payment system and the authorization centers of credit card companies is done through a Virtual Private Network (VPN), completely protected from unauthorized access. Confidential data from Your credit card is sent directly to the authorization center online. Card numbers are not stored in our system.
The indicator of secure communication between Your personal computer and Ouroboros Payment Gateway is a small icon of padlock in the ower corner of your web browser. If you hover your mouse pointer over that little padlock, a small tool-tip will appear, saying "SSL Secured", as well as showing the current level of encryption (128-bit).
All payments will be effected in Croatian currency. The amount Your credit card account will be charged for is obtained through the conversion of the price in Euro into Croatian kuna according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National bank. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our web site.
THE SERVICE RATES
The price of the services includes the basic service per apartment/day as described in the price list. The all price on the price list it is the price for cash only. All credit card transactions with the hotel incur a 9 % fee. Additional services are not included in the price of accommodation, therefore the customer pays for them separately. These services must be requested at the time of booking. Villa Vrbat apartment reserves the right to change the prices of service at any time. For customers who have paid an advance for their reservation, or provided acceptable reservation guarantee, accommodation rates valid at the time of booking.
Deposit is non-refundable. In the highly unlikely event of a problem arising, our liability to you, if any, is limited to the deposit you paid. We must receive written or verbal notice cancellations 31 days prior to your arrival. In the event of no-show without cancellation, Villa Vrbat has the right to charge the first nights accommodation.. If You are delayed and cannot arrive on the date reserved, and have not given the 30 days notification as per the changes/cancellation policy, You will be charged for that night either by credit card or in cash upon arrival, depending on when the change was communicated to us. In the event that You notify us within 30 days that You will be arriving on a later day, we will charge the missed night to Your credit card and consider Your reservation re-scheduled, meaning if You fail to show up for that night or cancel it upon arrival, You will be charged again an additional night.
Villa Vrbat is not responsible for changes or cancellation beyond our control, such as flood, fire, earthquake, wars etc, nor do we reimburse for cancellations made by you due to train/air strikes or other factors beyond our control.
If You request a change or cancellation and do not receive a response from us, do not assume that the change/cancellation will be recorded. Please save any correspondence of such changes/cancellations as without documentation of our having received such notice, we cannot ascertain that we were adequately notified.
If, upon arrival, You find your property to be unacceptable(if it does not meet legal sanitary and/or structural requirements) we will provide similar accommodation at no additional cost.Should the services provided not be satisfactory, the customer is entitled to seek reasonable compensation by filing a written complaint
No reimbursements will be made based on complaints or comments received after the end of Your rental period.
The customer is required: to have valid travel documents, to act in accordance with the house rules in accommodation units. It is customers duty to check whether a visa or other travel certificates are required by the Croatian immigration authorities, for the citizens of country of her/his origin.
We request that You leave the apartment/room in a reasonable state. If You find damaged items upon arrival that were not caused by You, please make a note of it and communicate it to us immediately. This will enable us to exclude You from responsibility as well any necessary repairs can be made as quickly as possible. In the case of credit/debit card bookings, card details will be held a security for damage to our apartments . Charges will be automatically deducted from your credit/debit card in the case of credit/debit card bookings or You have to leave 150 Ä damage deposit.The deposit in the amount of 150 Ä will be returned in full on checkout assuming there is not damage to the apartment other than normal wear and tear. Charges will be made in a fair manner to put right the damage, or to replace the broken objects.
Any disagreements that may arise from these Terms and Conditions should be settled in friendly manner, and if that is not possible, it will be subject to settlement by the Court in Trogir.
